MYSTIC POWERBOATS.

At Mystic Powerboats we pride ourselves on making the best and fastest offshore boats in the world. Our powerboats offer a balance of speed and luxury and are fully customizable to your needs.

1996
Mystic Powerboats was founded in 1996 by John Cosker. The company launched in Melbourne, Florida, but eventually moved to Port Orange, because of its proximity to Daytona Beach. Daytona’s ocean access made it easier to test new boats in real-world conditions.

2005
After nearly a decade, Mystic outgrew its Port Orange space and decided to move to a larger facility in DeLand, FL. By 2007, 5 boats, all 50 feet or larger, were under construction and business was booming. This move helped catapult the Mystic Powerboats brand to the next level.

2007
The Mystic brand became red hot when Dave Scott, owner of the Bud Select racing team, commissioned the second C5000 ever built. Dave is influential in the racing world and once he had a Mystic boat, everyone wanted one.

2011
Mystic produced its first 50-foot, six-person boat in 2011. This single build helped the brand transition from pure racing into the pleasure boat market and greatly expanded its customer base.

2013
People took notice when Bill Tomlinson bought a Mystic boat and hit a speed of 223 mph at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout. A year later, Sheik Hassan broke that record with a speed of 244 mph. These two boats cemented Mystic as the builder of the fastest offshore catamarans in the world.

2015
In 2015, production of the M4200 and C4400 offshore catamarans began. The M4200 became Mystic’s first high-performance center console V-hull outboard, and the C4400 was built in response to requests for a smaller and more manageable version of the C5000.

2017
With Mystic founder John Cosker at the helm, American Ethanol, a 51-foot Mystic catamaran, wins the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, as it has nearly every year since 2002. With a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour, this race reinforces Mystic Racing’s legacy.

2018
Following in the footsteps of Mystic’s flagship and in response to customer demand, the M3800 was born and added to the lineup. A perfect blend of size, speed and luxury, the M3800 is perfect for those who want to tow lighter and stay drier while entertaining guests for a day.

2020
The purchase of the warehouse next door allowed Mystic to expand its footprint and create an impressive showroom and design center. Customers can visit to say hello or plan their next Mystic, with personal consultations and more convenience than ever before.
